This one had been kept fairly quiet - I only found out about it two days before thanks to a colleague whose brother was a student at Lancaster. Expecting the bulk of the new album, we weren't disappointed, though I suspect the student audience were at the shortage of recognisable material. Indeed, only Confusion, Blue Monday, Thieves Like Us (introduced by Barney as a "Barry White Cover Version") and Age of Consent will have been known by the majority. Love Vigilantes went horribly wrong, though we didn't know it at the time, and the journey back down the M6 was a most agreeable one.
