This was the first and last time I saw the band live (I was always more of a JD fan),the venue was the local Top Rank nightclub not really a New Order type venue and as such I don't remember it being too busy. I remember Lonesome Tonight with all the oohs but I have to say that my main recollection was how awful they were as a band.Sorry but that was how it came across to me at the time - Barney kept getting all the words wrong which is a bit of a pet hate of mine. The sound was quite muddy as well and I don't think they went down that well with the crowd. I did take some photos as I remember Barney was on stage with his shirt off but I have no idea where they are now. This was the night I decided to break up with my boyfriend who was at the gig with me so maybe my judgment was slightly clouded....
